Ebonyi Governor, Dave Umahi Sacks 16 Political Appointees

GOVERNOR UMAHI SACKS I6 TECHNICAL ASSISTANTS AND APPOINTEES:

The Governor of Ebonyi State, Engr. Dave Umahi today sacked 16 of his political appointees comprising 12 Technical Assistants (TA), 2 Liaison Officers, and 2 Development Centre (DC) Management Committee Members.

According to Governor Umahi, the political appointees were sacked for dereliction of their duties.

The governor, therefore directed all the sacked officials to handover all Government property in their possessions to the Secretary to the State Government and Coordinating Commissioner, Dr. Ugbala Kenneth Igwe, Ph.D, before the close of work on Tuesday 24th November, 2020.

The sacked persons include:

1. Mr. Atuma Stephen Ifeanyi (Technical Assistant, TA)
2. Barr. Jude Nwovu (Technical Assistant, TA)
3. Ifeanyi Ogbuewu (Technical Assistant, TA)
4. Chinyere Oreke Daniel (Technical Assistant, TA)
5. Chinoso Iboke (Liaison Officer)
6. Chinedu Iteshi (Liaison Officer)
7. Agatha Nwancho (Member, DC Management Committee)
8. Nwaforagu Ikechukwu (Member, Dc Management Committee)
9. Kingdom Otubo (Technical Assistant, TA)
10. Oforbuike Nwoba (Technical Assistant, TA)
11. Udoka Elias (Technical Assistant, TA)
12. Sabastine Ojiogu (Technical Assistant, TA)
13. Ejimofor Aleke (Technical Assistant, TA)
14. Amarachi Eze (Technical Assistant, TA)
15. Okoro Idam Eni (Technical Assistant, TA)
16. Hon. Collins Otu Eleri (Technical Assistant, TA)
