GOVERNOR UMAHI AGAIN SACKS 19 MORE GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS, APPOINTS 17 NEW ONES

Ebonyi State Governor, Dave Umahi has once more sacked another set of his aides.
This time around, 1 Senior Technical Assistant (STA), 14 Technical Assistants (TA), 2 Liaison Officers, and 2 Management Committee Members, totalling 19 were asked to relinquish their post.

AJM NEWS gathered that the governor effected the sack of the officials for dereliction of duty.

It would be recalled that Governor Umahi had earlier sacked 16 political appointees for the same reason of dereliction of duty.

The sacked officials, in a Communique signed by the Secretary to the State Government/Coordinating Commissioner, Dr. Ugbala Kenneth Igwe on Friday, were directed to handover all government properties in their possession to the SSG.

Those affected in the sack include:

  1. Charles Onu- STA
  2. Ikenna Ani Emmanuel- TA
  3. Ifeanyi Chukwuma- TA
  4. Amaka Chukwu Ede- TA
  5. Ani Felix Chinedu- TA
  6. Mrs Ngozi Uzor Nwokoro- TA
  7. Hon. Emmanuel Ugbana- TA
  8. Obinna Ani- TA
  9. Moses Nweze- TA
  10. Ogechi Awo – TA
  11. Mrs. Igbota Chibuike- TA

12.Mrs. Rufus Obaji- TA

  1. Hon.Samuel Opuh- TA
  2. Hon.Sampson Okoro- TA
  3. Mrs Obinna Odefa- TA
  4. Mrs Elizabeth Una-Liaison Officer.
  5. Faith Onuoha- Liaison Officer.
  6. Nweze Obinna- Member Management Committee.
  7. Chukwuma Okoro- Member Management Committee.

Consequently, the governor has approved the appointments of 17 new officials to replace the ones removed from office.

The new appointees include:

1.Peter Ani Chukwu- TA

  1. Okafor Eze – TA
  2. Anegu Ngozi Reuben- TA
  3. Chukwudi Ofoegbu- STA
  4. Mr Ani Chika – TA
  5. Mrs Okoro Nnenna Salome – TA
  6. Ogbonna Nwani- TA
  7. Vincent Ogo- TA
  8. Mark Orji Anoke- TA
  9. Obasi Nweze C- TA
  10. Mr Benjamin Mkpuma- TA
  11. Emmanuel Una- TA.
  12. Joseph Eruogu- TA
  13. Monday Idenyi- TA
  14. Mr.Ifeakandu Chukwu- TA
  15. Mrs Elizabeth Alo- Liaison Officer.
  16. Mrs. Onyedikachi Nwachukwu-
    Liaison Officer.

The new appointees are required to report to the Principal Secretary to the Governor on Monday 30th November, 2020 for documentation and further necessary action.
