MAN ON CRUTCHES JOINS PETER OBI’S RALLY IN AFIKPO, ATTRACTS SYMPATHY

A physically challenged man on crutches was sighted among the thousands of able bodied men and women who came out today for the solidarity rally organised for the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Mr. Peter Obi, in Afikpo North Local Government Area of Ebonyi State.

The picture of the man seen on crutches in todays rally has gone viral on the internet and has also attracted lots of sympathizers looking for a way to get in touch with him, so that they can show him some love.

One of those looking for a means to reach the physically challenged man on crutches is Alex Ozone.
He wrote on his verified Facebook account:

“OBidients in Afikpo, Ebonyi my dear home state, if you know this man on crutches captured at Afikpo OBidients Rally this morning, please indicate… me and some of my friends have something for him!”

Meanwhile, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi has expressed his gratitude as his supporters take to the streets to rally for him.

According to tales, images, and flicks making rounds on social media, the rallies had been held in Afikpo, Port Harcourt, Auchi in Edo State, and Makurdi, the capital of Benue State. Photos from these rallies have sparked blended reactions as they made rounds on social media.

Peter Obi who’s presently the most popular presidential candidate, went to his social media handle to show appreciation to his teeming supporters for the rally; he wrote:

“We are watching as Port Harcourt, Auchi, Makurdi and Afikpo move OBIdiently today, under the sun and in the rain.

“Constitutional rights to peaceful assembly are protected and must be respected by all. Our labours will never be in vain. I appreciate you all.”

AJM NEWS gathered that Obi’s supporters in Afikpo defied the rain, and came out en masse for the solidarity rally, as they sang and danced happily on the road.
