THE EXECUTIVES OF THE PENTECOSTAL FELLOWSHIP OF NIGERIA (PFN), Afikpo Chapter, On Tuesday, September 17, Paid A Courtesy Visit To The Newly Elected Chairman Of Afikpo Local Government Area, Engr. Chief Timothy Agha Uduma Nwachi, At The Local Government Headquarters.
In His Speech, The Chairman Of The Pentecostal Fellowship Of Nigeria (PFN), Afikpo Chapter, Pastor Jesse Okey Nweze, Congratulated Engr. Nwachi For His Emergence As The Executive Chairman Of Afikpo Local Government
Area.
The PFN Chairman Noted That Afikpo LGA Is Very Fortunate And Blessed To Have A Leader Like Engr. Nwachi In A Time Like This; Adding That The PFN Deemed It Necessary To Identify With Him As He Takes His Seat To Pilot The Affairs Of The Council.
Pastor Nweze Charged The Council Chairman To Lead The Council In Righteousness, And To Do Everything Possible To Become The Best Among All Other Chairmen That Had Led The Local Government Area.
The PFN Chairman, Pastor Jesse Equally Presented Some Books To The Council Chairman.
Pastor Jesse Nweze Also Used The Opportunity To Plead With The Council Chairman To Do Something About The Deplorable State Of The Road Leading To PECULIAR TREASURE NURSERY AND PRIMARY SCHOOL (Peace House Academy, Kpogirikpo Afikpo), Which Is Also A Tuition-Free School.
In His Response Cum Welcome Speech, The Chairman, Engr. Chief Timothy Nwachi Expressed His Gratitude For The Timely Visit By The Ministers Of The Gospel, Adding That He Would Always Carry Them Along In His Administration.
The Chairman Who Made It Clear That He Is Not A Politician, Though He’s Occupying The Executive Seat Of The Council, Requested That The Men Of God Should Always Remember Him In Their Prayers, To Enable Him Lead His People Rightly.
He Noted: “I’ve Gotten All That I Needed As A Man; I’ve Been To Overseas On Several Occasions, Trained My Children, Gotten A Good House And A Car; I’ve Reached My Height Before I Took The Mantle Of Leadership As Council Chairman.
“The Only Thing I Need Now Is To Serve My People Selflessly And In A Godly Way, So That In The End All Would See Enough Reason To Be Happy. So, I Need Your Prayers.”
Chief Timothy Nwachi Also Reiterated His Commitment To Reducing Hunger In His Local Government Council Through The Introduction Of Cassava Stems That Grow And Mature In Six Months Period.
Other Events That Took Place During The Courtesy Visit Included The Appointment Of Pastor Anointed Isuama As The New Chaplain Of The Local Government By The Chairman, And Prayers Made For The Council Chairman, Which Was Concluded By Bishop Francis Ashian Idika.
