The use of fake and non-existent groups and associations by agents of the Nigerian Government in a laughable attempt to blackmail our Leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, is confirmation that the Indigenous Peoples of Biafra (IPOB) is the greatest nightmare of the failed government of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. It’s an acknowledgement that IPOB has roundly defeated the failed Fulani controlled Nigerian government in the battle of ideas.

We find amusing that a purported statement was circulated and credited to another DSS manufactured non-existent group they named Coalition of South East Professionals Network in Nigeria and Diaspora (CSEPNND) all in an effort to give the erroneous impression that a handful of Efulefus are against the IPOB led effort to restore Biafra. A ghost group that only exist in the deranged mind of DSS propaganda unit operatives, in which it was reported the said group petitioned the UK and Israeli governments requesting the repatriation of our leader, Mazi Nnamdi. How utterly ridiculous!

Why DSS has chosen to continue to disgrace itself by creating these fake groups is beyond human comprehension. Such a weak and tactless strategy will not distract us. If indeed such a group exists, why can’t they conduct a live press briefing to convince the people of Biafra they are real by showing us their faces. Our challenge to DSS and those media houses that were deceived into publushing such hogwash of lies, is to arrange an open interview with the said leaders of these faceless groups because we know they don’t exist.

This same ineffective strategy has been tried in the past when they created their fake new- IPOB, IPOD, RENPOB, RENIPOB, SEXIPOB and other non-existent groups using fake Igbo names as signatories. They failed then, they will also fail again this time.

Our response to such lame script has not changed. If the so-called CSEPNND is real and identifiable, let them show us their faces, give us their contact address so we can take them seriously. If the self-acclaimed leaders of CSEPNND – the imaginary Professor Madumere Chika, and Mazi Anayo Uchemba, are not robots but truly Igbo sons as they claimed, let them mention their communities and kinsmen.

Our Leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu is from Isiama Afaraukwu in Ibeku Umuahia North, Abia State. He is not a faceless figure. So, if any DSS creation like CSEPNND leader wants to join issues with him, he should first prove his existence before eliciting IPOB’s attention, otherwise let such faceless group remain amorphous and circulate only in the realm of imagination.

We can say without equivocation that there is no Igbo professor that goes by the name Madumere Chika, and there is also no Igbo professional association known as CSEPNND. This is purely a DSS fictitious creation meant to decieve the gullible and undiscerning. We challenge them to disclose their address and location for enquiries and confirmation if indeed they are not fake.

If Kanu were a fugitive and a lone ranger as purportedly claimed by this ghost group, why the frenzy over his activities? If Kanu has no followership why lose sleep over him? If Kanu were a lunatic that only operates in the internet why catch cold over him?

Instead of generating ideas on how to deal with terrorists about to over run the zoo, the DSS and other security agencies are busy dissipating energy on IPOB that is never their enemy. We are only after the restoration of Biafra and do not in any way pose any threat to anybody except those benefitting from the oppression and subjugation of our people.

It’s high time the DSS left Nnamdi Kanu and IPOB alone and think of better ways to justify their salaries. It’s too late to stop the Biafra project. The night is far spent and the day is almost here!

EBONYI INDIGENES IN DIASPORA REJECT ZONING ARRANGEMENT IN THE STATE, AS 2023 ELECTIONS DRAW NEAR

As 2023 governorship election in Ebonyi State gathers momentum, some indigenes of the state under the platform of Association of Ebonyi State Indigenes in the Diaspora (AESID) have said that competence and credibility will determine who emerges the next governor and not zoning.

The association implored Ebonyi people to continue to study the records in and out of office of any contender and place same side-by-side with the prevailing challenges facing the state and seek out for only those who can reverse the negative indices.

In a statement signed and released to newsmen on Sunday by its President, Ambassador Paschal Oluchukwu, urged the people to ignore “paid political permutators, jobbers and hatchets men mislead, misdirect or misinform Ebonyi people as they battle to choose a credible and competent leader who would take-over the baton as Governor David Nweze Umahi’s successor.”

The association was reacting to an opinion piece by one Sunday Okwerike- one of the Izhi youngsters on social media who lamented that the rest of Ebonyians should probably leave the battle of Umahi’s successor in 2023 to only his Izhi clan.

But while responding to the development, the AESID said Ebonyi people will also not support to be elected into the office of Governor in 2023, any leader or persons who have records of having been used particularly by the Umahi administration to dispense mindless violence on Ebonyians with many of such leading to deaths of the young and elderly.

“First, AESID wishes to assert that the number one criteria which we implore every Ebonyian and lover our dear State to seek out in any intending aspirant or candidate is COMPETENCE and CREDIBILITY which would ultimately translate into such a leader’s capacity to reverse the numerous growing negative statistics and economic woes that the current government of Umahi has brought upon our dear State.

“Apart from the incontrovertible fact that there has never been a time when the rest of the zones in the State allowed only aspirants and candidates from a particular part of the State to seek the Governorship office in keeping with the so-called unwritten charter of equity, power as such pundits and analysts should be made to know only comes from above and it is never given but taken.

“Much more than the zone of an aspirant, AESID would, we reiterate implore Ebonyi people to continue to study the records in and out of office of any contender and place same side-by-side with the prevailing challenges facing the young State and seek out for only those who can reverse the negative indices.

“We, as a group has variously raised the alarm over the rising poverty in the State which has placed us in a woeful third position among the 36 States of the federation and whoever wish to succeed Umahi must not only be worried about this ugly trend but have the feasible prognosis to proffer credible solutions to them.”

According to Oluchukwu, the government of Engr. Umahi has remained a family business with capital flights being the order of the day.

“Governor Umahi boasts that he knows even the costs of production and supply of ordinary nails, all because he is the sole supplier all to and by himself and his family. This is why the government has placed higher premium on concrete roads, flyovers and decorative water fountains cum lights over and above the economic survival of a greater number of Ebonyians. Come 2023, Ebonyi people should choose, follow, support and elect a leader who would run an all-inclusive government that would see humans as humans and not as machines.

“It is our firm believe that the economic prosperity of Ebonyi people is more important than the antiquated zoning of political positions that would not afford us to put our best foot forward as Umahi’s successor in 2023. More so, our people will not elect any leader who has shown manifest greed and looting of previously or presently occupied public office, neither would we encourage them to support anyone hanging on the shoulders of any leader who has vaults in his massive country-home wherein he’s been saving looted public funds.”

Professor George Obiozor was today in Owerri, Imo State elected the new President General of Ohaneze Ndigbo, the apex Igbo socio-cultural group in Nigeria.

Professor Obiozor got a total of 304 votes to defeat his main rival, Chief Valentine Oparaocha, who got 15 votes.

“It has not escaped my attention that the day social media companies decided there actually IS more they could do to police Trump’s destructive behavior was the same day that they learned Democrats would chair all the Congressional committees that oversee them,” tweeted Jennifer Palmieri, Hillary Clinton’s former communications director.

At the outset of Trump’s term, Facebook and Twitter chose to make exceptions for the speech of public figures, allowing them to use troubling language that would otherwise violate their policies on hate speech and harassment. Those key decisions — made in the name of newsworthiness — enabled Trump and his allies to push the boundaries of political discourse online, helping him to build a powerful online movement and amass more than 88 million Twitter followers and more than 35 million on Facebook. Some of those supporters have ties to extreme far-right groups and conspiracy theories, such as QAnon, and flashed their insignia during Wednesday’s riot.

SOUTH EAST IS THE ONLY ZONE IN THE SOUTH YET TO PRODUCE A PRESIDENT OF NIGERIA IN THE CURRENT DEMOCRATIC DISPENSATION-  SOUTH EAST POLITICAL LEADERS

COMMUNIQUE ISSUED AT THE END OF A CROSS-PARTY MEETING OF SOUTH EAST POLITICAL LEADERS AT IGBERE, ABIA STATE, ON JANUARY 5, 2021.

Preamble

Political leaders of the South East across all political persuasions met at Igbere, Abia State, on January 5, 2021 to discuss the political future of the geopolitical zone vis-à-vis the 2023 general election.

Observations

The meeting recalled that Nigerians across political, ethnic, and religious divides fought hard, long, and collectively to enthrone the current democratic dispensation as the surest way to engender national development and guarantee a just and equitable society where every section of the country enjoys a sense of belonging.

The meeting observed that the Presidency of the Federal Republic of Nigeria has rotated between Northern and Southern Nigeria and among the various geopolitical zones. Thus, the South West and South South geopolitical zones in the southern part of the country have produced the President of Nigeria . Hence as power is expected to rotate to the South in 2023, the meeting noted that the South East is the only zone in the South that is yet to produce a President of Nigeria in the current democratic dispensation.

The meeting further observed that the people of the South East have continued to demonstrate their commitment to the unity and development of the country. Not only has the geopolitical zone actively supported the emergence of Nigerian President of other geopolitical extractions, the people are also known to be major agents of development and heavy investors outside their zone and often the next in population after the indigenes in any state of Nigeria. Our well-pronounced presence and investments in every nook and cranny of the country represent the firmest and most practical demonstration of faith in the unity, peace, and continued corporate existence of the country, for where a man’s treasure is, there his heart lies also. 

Resolutions/Demands

In view of the above and after exhaustive and incisive deliberations, South East political leaders resolved to:

1. Recommit ourselves to the deepening of the nation’s democracy as the surest way of fast-tracking national development and building an egalitarian society where no man is oppressed for reasons of his class, ethnic, religious or political affiliation and background.

2. Implore Nigerians across political, ethnic, religious, and geopolitical divides and persuasions to support the people of the South East geopolitical zone to produce a Nigerian President of South East extraction as a mark of good faith and to promote justice and national harmony. For emphasis, we deem this very important in giving every part of the country a sense of belonging and in promoting national unity and solidarity. It is the loudest reassurance of equality of all parts and that the country indeed belongs to all members of the Nigerian commonwealth

3. Consequently implore all the political parties to cede their presidential tickets in the 2023 general election to the South East in the interest of justice, equity and national unity. To make good our demand and reciprocate such good faith, we have decided, as a geopolitical zone with substantial presence in every part of the country to give a block vote and throw our full weight behind any major political party, particularly the APC and PDP, that zones its presidential ticket to the South East in 2023 general election. We resolved to work for such a party irrespective of our different individual political parties.

4. To emphasis that what we seek is a Nigerian President of South East extraction, one that will work to further unite and develop every part of the country. Such a President will be President of all Nigerians irrespective of their political, ethnic, and religious backgrounds, ensuring that all citizens and every part of the country is given a sense of belonging and treated with utmost sense of justice. Such was the dream of the founding fathers of this great nation wherefore they declared that though tribe and tongue may differ, in brotherhood we stand. For the same reason, they also committed to building a just nation where no man is oppressed so that Nigeria may be blessed with peace, plenty, and prosperity.

What they call politics is nothing but criminal activities.

How can you be bold enough to say you belong to a country that do nothing for you?

In Nigeria, you’re on your own.

If you don’t have anybody in your family to help you when you’re sick, you will die.

You will struggle to go to schools, struggle to get job, struggle to pay rent, struggle to pay electricity bill, struggle to pay for health and environmental care, you struggle to provide food for your self and family

When you have a case, and you don’t have money or big man in politics, you’re going to prison.

If you’re a politician and commits any crime,no matter the level of your crime, you will be set free in the night before morning.

WHAT A COUNTRY?

WE BORROWED AND SPENT OVER ₦5 BILLION IN TOUCHING PEOPLE’S LIVES JUST WITHIN THE MONTH OF DECEMBER, SAYS UMAHI

The Governor of Ebonyi State, Engr. Dave Umahi, has said that his administration has spent over ₦5 billion in touching the lives of the people of the state.

Umahi stated this during a Christmas visit to the Alex Ekwueme Federal Teaching Hospitals, Fetha One and Two, and the Mile Four Maternity Hospital in Abakaliki, Ebonyi State capital.

Although the governor did not explain how the money was spent, he noted that the sum was expended by the local and state governments.

“Between the Local Governments and the state, in this December alone, we have spent over N5billion. When we didn’t have the money, we had to borrow because touching people like this gives me a lot of joy,” Umahi said.

“So when few people are saying there is no empowerment, don’t mind them. This is the real empowerment, to set the patients free, to set the poor free, to set the oppressed free, that is the real empowerment.

“Roads is the basis of the development of every state and we needed this road so badly. Remember we are the salt of the nation, but today, we are the road of the nation.”

The governor also used the opportunity to donate some food items to various hospitals as well as pay the outstanding medical bills for indigent patients across the state.

This Is The Highest Level Of Political Vendetta, Acrimony, Witch-hunting And Injustice, Not Only Against The Lawmaker, But Against The Entire Community Of People And Constituency Whom The Lawmaker Represents.

It May Shock You To Note That Up Till This Very Moment, All The Constituency Monies, Allowances And Other Rights Denied Of Hon. Maria By Gov. Umahi Had Not Been Given To Her, Which Also Affected Her Performance And Delivery To Her Constituency Within The Short Period She Stayed In Office; That Is The Very Thing Umahi Has Started Doing To Hon. Lilian Ngozi Eziuloh.

AJM NEWS Also Rightly Gathered That All The Ebonyi State House Of Assembly Members Who Refused To Follow Governor Umahi To The APC Were Completely Denied Their Christmas Package And Other Allowances Which Was Shared To Other House Members Who Are Of The APC family.

Gov. Umahi Should Know That Politics Is A Game Of Interest, And As Such Should Not Attack Others Or Deny Them Of Their Rights For Having A Contrary Opinion From His Views.

Our Attention has been drawn to the recent political killings in the state. On 26 December, 2020 an Ebonyi Youth from Onueke Ezza South was murdered in his compound till today the security agencies in the state has done nothing.

The State Government that was saddled with the responsibility to protect the life’s and properties of it’s citizens has equally done nothing but rather threatening the opposition parties in the state. If I should ask must we have one party system in the state but not possible in a democratic system. The Governor has exhibited that He’s not a true democrat.

Just this afternoon at the Ohaozara West Development Center( Governor’s DC Coordinator) Patrick Enyi masterminded the killing of Mr Chinonso Aja from Umuorji Amenu Uburu all in the name of supporting the Governor’s recent defection to All Progressive Party.

It has come to our full knowledge that the Development Center Coordinators in the state are now the Chief Thugs of the state government to unleashed mayhem in their various communities while the security agencies fold their arms and do nothing.

We are hereby calling on all the state security agencies and the state government to live up to their responsibility and bring culprits to book.

As a political party, we must ensure that the the people are protected irrespective of their party affiliation because that’s the primary aim of governance and the reason we were voted as Peoples Democratic Party which is still the People’s party.

We call for an urgent end to this political killings, threats, violence and intimidation going on the state as we are brothers and sisters before politics.

The Commissioner of Police is being watched to see if this killer will go scot free as usual or the law will take it’s full course by ensuring that the killer is brought to book according to law.

The People’s Democratic Party will follow this case closely to ensure that justice is done for the 19 years deceased.
